Our History

In 2001, Kevin Johnson and Fred Danforth founded JohnsonDanforth & Associates, initially as a healthcare consulting firm specializing in The Joint Commission, EOC, Life Safety, Emergency Management, and Clinical Support and Transition. In 2009 they expanded the company into a larger group of hospital services. Significantly, in 2014 JohnsonDanforth obtained our SDVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) verification and designation from the Departments of Veterans Affairs. JohnsonDanforth & Assoiciates today is a full service Healthcare Facilities Design/Build firm specializing in hospital construction. We also specialize in facility service contracts, procurement, and architectural and engineering design projects. We are a company with a vast amount of hospital and clinical experience. We have completed nearly every type of hospital project, at every level, from complex construction and renovation projects, to hospital MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) system upgrades and building repairs. Our expertise spans the healthcare inductry spectrum. The owners/principals of our company are former hospital facility executives, and nursing executives who have great experience and training when it comes to understanding the operations of a healthcare facility under contruction or undergoing renovations. Our level of hospital experience is unsurpassed. We are a company that truly understands healthcare and technology changes. We know every facet of hospital operations and the impact of working in an occupied patient care environment. Our company uses sutainable systems and practices while implementing new and better approaches to deliver client projects.
